About ALEX

Hey there, I’m Alex, and I’m in my early 30’s – a bit of a hippie, you could say. I’ve always been drawn to social and environmental issues, and man, has it taken me on some epic adventures!

I’ve been bitten by the travel bug, and it’s taken me all over the world. I lived in Japan for a whole year, soaking up the rich culture and learning to appreciate the beauty of simplicity. Then, I backpacked around Peru for about six months, living life on the road and experiencing the true meaning of freedom. Oh, and I’ve hopped to a couple of other South American countries too – picked up some Spanish along the way, although I might still sound like a gringo!

I may not have any fancy formal training, but I’m all about learning and improving myself. I’ve taken short courses on everything from Environmental Science to Conservation and Ecosystem Management. Knowledge is power, right?

When it comes to my lifestyle, I try to walk the talk, my friend. Using recycled items whenever possible is like my personal mission – it’s like giving things a second chance at life, and that makes my heart happy. I can’t even remember the last time I set foot in a department store – garage sales are my jam! You won’t believe the gems you can find there, and you know what they say: one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Okay, maybe I’m a bit of a hoarder, but I see it as being resourceful!

Now, exercise and me? We’re more like casual acquaintances. I’ve never really been into intense workouts, but I get my daily dose of movement by walking and biking everywhere. You’d be surprised how much ground you can cover while keeping in reasonable shape – it’s like multitasking for health!

You bet I love talking about the organic lifestyle and environmental issues. I’m all about spreading the love and awareness, but I also know that pushing my beliefs on others isn’t cool. However, if someone wants to rain on my green parade, I’m not afraid to stand up for what I hold dear – Mama Earth needs some defenders, you know?

Speaking of spreading the love, that’s why I started the Just Organics blog. It’s a way for me to educate people about the importance of organic living and environmental issues. I truly believe that change starts with awareness and information. Each individual has the power to make a difference, and if our blog can inspire even a few people to embrace a more eco-friendly lifestyle, that’s a win in my book.

Oh, and how could I forget about Charlie? We go way back – about 4 or 5 years! We actually met at a farmers market in this small country town. She dug my tie-dye shirt, and we hit it off like two peas in a pod. When you find someone who shares your passions, you hold onto them, and together, we’re like a dynamic duo on a mission!

So, let’s do this together – one organic step at a time! We’ll take on the world, raise awareness, and inspire positive change. Who knows? Maybe we’ll turn the whole planet into a groovy, green paradise! Peace and love, my friends. ✌️🌿

I’ve always been involved and interested in the environment and have been heavily into organics for around 10 years. I can’t see myself going back either as the change has been a positive one for me.

Alex and I have been bumping into each other for about 5 years now and we finally decided to do something together – so we started Just Organics and want to share great info about sustainable living.

I’m Robin, living in Vancouver, Canada where I love the outdoors. I’ve joined Just Organics as a Social Media and PR contact and am really excited about getting the organic message out there!

I’m pretty new to the organic scene but I already love the change that I’ve made to my life. Using organic products and learning more about where and how items are made has given me a new perspective on things.
